A plywood and MDF frame, upholstered over foam and steel webbing, is what keeps that structured, straight backed shape intact. Nick Ross designed the chairs alongside the Tearoom Sofa for Audo Copenhagen, both drawing their curved backs from Charles Rennie Mackintosh's 1904 Willow Chair.
