Death Cab for Cutie-inspired 'I Will Follow You into the Dark' Art Print Cities in Dust famously used in the finalThere's a satisfying contradiction with Death Cab for Cutie: very serious melancholy gothic lyrics, but the lead singer, Ben Gibbard, has this angelic, guileless tenor contralto voice . . . fun. To heighten this contradiction, I found this very dark gothic vintage retro movie poster with a distinctly HR Giger vibe to it though I don't actually think it's his which reframes the title of the song and some choice lyrics into a true horror context. FUN.
